Mini Music Moment: The Easter Bunny

Hoppy Easter! Today’s Mini Music Moment is all about the Easter Bunny. If you have shakers, grab them and play along. If not, you can make them!

Find plastic Easter eggs, empty prescription canisters, or any small container with a lid. Add a small amount of rice, dried beans, or tiny pebbles. Tape them closed with colorful electrical tape or duct tape and decorate. Then it’s time to shake along to “I Know a Bunny” (adapted from Laurie Berkner’s amazing song, “I Know a Chicken”.

That silly lady who’s always eating things she’s not supposed to eat also makes an appearance as we read “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Chick” (by Lucille Colandro). Finally, we will shake our bunny tails and hop down the trail with James Corriveau’s “Have You Seen the Easter Bunny?”

Have a wonderful Easter!
